Rehearsal asks so much of us. It asks us to be available, flexible, focused, vulnerable, patient, and precise—often all at the same time. It asks us to try things before we fully understand them, to receive notes without collapsing, to repeat something until it becomes honest, and to stay open even when we feel tired, uncertain, or exposed.
